Cantacuzino Castle also know as the "Nevermore Academy"
It has been a month but I am still in awe of the castle's stunning architecture and intricate detailing. The Neo-Romanian style, with its ornate woodcarvings, frescoes, and stained glass, can leave visitors, amazed at the craftsmanship and artistry on display. If you are interested in history and culture, you would definitely appreciate the opportunity to learn about the Cantacuzino family and the historical context of the castle. The castle's interior, with its period furniture and artwork, can bring you to a different era. Visitors may enjoy exploring the various rooms and chambers within the castle, including the carved wooden staircase and the fresco-adorned halls. The gardens and terraces are also inviting spaces to wander and relax.
It was indeed a pleasure to visit Cantacuzino. I had the chance to take numerous photos of the castle's exterior and interior. The picturesque gardens and scenic views of the Bucegi Mountains provide ample opportunities for capturing memorable moments. I took a moment to sit in the gardens and enjoy the tranquil atmosphere. The castle's location in the Carpathian Mountains and its panoramic views can provide a sense of serenity and a chance for reflection. It's a place that offers a blend of architectural beauty, historical significance, and natural charm, making it a memorable destination for travelers.
There is a souvenir shop inside the castle. Visitors can purchase souvenirs like fridge magnets, shirts and local crafts. I believe, purchasing items allows us to take a piece of the experience home with us.
